Four CAT students win 11 ADDY Awards at the Louisville Advertising Awards Gala.
It was a great night for four of our CAT students at the recent American Advertising Awards gala in Louisville.
The American Advertising Federation – Louisville held the ADDY Awards Gala at The Ice House in Louisville. The theme for the Awards this year was Win City, celebrating Louisville’s Advertising Creative Industry Vegas style. And our students came up Aces.
For the first time ever, our CAT Students submitted to and won in the Animation category. Not only did we win for the first time, but we won a remarkable 6 ADDYs in animation.
Our CAT students won three of the top four awards of the night, sweeping all three of the coveted Judges’ Choice Awards.
One of our CAT students, Jared Barnard won two Judge’s Choice Awards, along with four Silver Student ADDY’s on the night.
Another CAT student, Petrus Steyn, won the other Judge’s Choice Award, plus a Gold Student ADDY for his outstanding animation for Lotus Photography.

The CAT students participating in this year’s competition really put on a good show for the advertising community. Their work will go on to compete at the District ADDY Awards competition with results coming in late March.
